Vacation Knitting

The start of my vacation happens to coincide with the start of the London Olympics. I had originally casted on for Goodale, but decided that this is the wrong yarn for the project. So, during the opening ceremonies, I ripped out Goodale and casted on for Tea Leaves. Will I finish it before the vacation comes to a close? Maybe the Closing Ceremonies?

P.S. The yarn is Berroco Ultra Alpaca. Lovely yarn.

Insomnia Meets April

Romeldale/CVM April

What happens when you have insomnia and check your email at 4 AM? You get April, a Romeldale/CVM (California Variegated Mutant) from The White Barn Farm.

Someone didn’t follow through on their reservation on her fleece so she became available this morning, just as I checked my email. Lucky me.
