I’m a technical program/project manager with a love for all things textiles. I am currently taking a hiatus from the hectic high tech life, and taking time to explore the artistic side, splitting my time between San Francisco Bay Area and Puget Sound (Washington State).
My current fiber pursuits include spinning, knitting, dyeing, weaving, and sewing. I’ve also quilted and crocheted in the past. I believe in trying everything once.
Non-fiber pursuits include watercoloring, woodworking, kayaking, and sailing.
The picture in the masthead is of the Olympic Mountains at sunrise in Washington State (USA), as seen from the porch of my cottage.

I saw on http://nonaknits.typepad.com/nonaknits/2007/05/use_a_doilie.html that you have framed some knit/crochet pieces between glass. I have a friend who is trying to do this and the framer doesn’t know how to mount it on the glass to prevent slipage. Any ideas?
Thanks!
